Cultural Quest: Exploring the Rich Tapestry of Nepal

As part of Grade 5’s Project-Based Learning (PBL) on Cultural Diversity, our students had an enriching field trip to the National Ethnographic Museum, where they explored the vibrant cultural heritage of Nepal firsthand.
They were captivated by exhibits showcasing traditional attire, tools, household items, musical instruments, and the unique lifestyles of various ethnic communities. This immersive experience brought their classroom lessons to life, deepening their appreciation for the values of inclusion, respect, and unity in diversity.
The day with a delicious traditional Thakali meal, allowing students to savor the flavors of Thakali cuisine and understand how food expresses cultural identity and traditions.
